I have not been looking for retro tiered end tables, *like the ones your grandma had*, for months. I most certainly did not embarrass my husband, by asking the lady at an antique store IF she had any of these end tables. She most certainly did not go to her basement storage *further embarrassing my husband* to see if she had said end tables. I did not finally purchase for FIVE BUCKS EACH, two of said tables, at this antique store, 7 1/2 hours from my home. I am totally NOT going to refurbish these end tables, and make them into RETRO MODERN CONTEMPORARY end tables. I have not been looking all over town for parts and pieces to make them into RMC. The end table parts have all been purchased, and are waiting for my *with the help of Tinkerton* assembling. *Do check back to see pictures of my new end tables. :-)*
This day has not been a day of serious, deep down cleaning for me. I would never take my mini blinds down, put them in the bathtub with Dawn and bleach to clean them. No way would I do deep cleaning just because my daughter, SIL, and two sweet grandbabies, were coming to visit on Wednesday.
I totally would not have been looking online today, to purchase a NEW bed set for the guest room, just to spice it up a bit, for our kids. NOT ME, no way would I do that. ;-)
I am not making a special grocery list, FULL of things my grandbabies love, no way would I spoil them like that!!
There is no possible way I would make a nice taco dinner when my brother and nephew were here this past weekend. I would never have set the table, using all my cute dishes for taco fixings......and then take a picture of my table. Tinkerton did not say "wow we never have taco's like this!!!" It is not often that we use the cute stuff for just two of us. hee hee
This is not my first NOT ME MONDAY!!!! I would never have been reading Mckmama's blog for months, and not make a NOT ME MONDAY post. NEVER NOT ME!!!!
