Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
I have not been looking for retro tiered end tables, *like the ones your grandma had*, for months. I most certainly did not embarrass my husband, by asking the lady at an antique store IF she had any of these end tables. She most certainly did not go to her basement storage *further embarrassing my husband* to see if she had said end tables. I did not finally purchase for FIVE BUCKS EACH, two of said tables, at this antique store, 7 1/2 hours from my home. I am totally NOT going to refurbish these end tables, and make them into RETRO MODERN CONTEMPORARY end tables. I have not been looking all over town for parts and pieces to make them into RMC. The end table parts have all been purchased, and are waiting for my *with the help of Tinkerton* assembling. *Do check back to see pictures of my new end tables. :-)*

This day has not been a day of serious, deep down cleaning for me. I would never take my mini blinds down, put them in the bathtub with Dawn and bleach to clean them. No way would I do deep cleaning just because my daughter, SIL, and two sweet grandbabies, were coming to visit on Wednesday.

I totally would not have been looking online today, to purchase a NEW bed set for the guest room, just to spice it up a bit, for our kids. NOT ME, no way would I do that. ;-)

I am not making a special grocery list, FULL of things my grandbabies love, no way would I spoil them like that!!

There is no possible way I would make a nice taco dinner when my brother and nephew were here this past weekend. I would never have set the table, using all my cute dishes for taco fixings......and then take a picture of my table. Tinkerton did not say "wow we never have taco's like this!!!" It is not often that we use the cute stuff for just two of us. hee hee

This is not my first NOT ME MONDAY!!!! I would never have been reading Mckmama's blog for months, and not make a NOT ME MONDAY post. NEVER NOT ME!!!!

My favorite flowers and vase!!!

This vase had my eye from day one. I saw it in Safeway floral dept, in Madras Oregon. I was on one of my many road trips to see my kids/grandbabies. While stopping to use Safeway's restroom, and get a Starbuck'sto keep me awake.......I saw this amazing vase. The floral shop had the vase filled to the brim, with flowers, stones and a huge ribbon bow. They wanted $25.00 for the whole thing.........bccause I buy the cheapest possible, this would not work for me. ;-) I looked at our stores here in Washington, they did not even carry the vase. THEN on one of my many road trips, I stopped at Madras, for the usual, and low and behold, before my eyes was an EMPTY vase...........for just $9.99. I SO GRABBED IT UP..........and we have enjoyed it since. My hubby buys me flowers from Walmart or Safeway, when he goes to town. I LOVE FLOWERS. These orange flowers are my favorite. They are tiny rose buds, from Walmart $5.00. :-D

I want to go to heaven.........I can't handle the heat. LOL

We are in a HEAT WAVE, here in Washington state. When it is 96* and up to 90%+ humidity, you cannot breath. We had that today.......tomorrow is supposed to drop to 86* and then to 79* on wednesday, back to 86* on thursday. I sooo miss the dry climate of Idaho.

We have been in MUCH prayer for Mckmama's precious baby Stellan today. He is such an amazingly strong baby boy. We believe that Jesus is going to heal precious Stellan. He is on his way to Boston SOON for maybe another ablation. Please pray for Stellan with us!!!

This is my first post, I so wanted it to be of my kids/grandbabies and hubby and I.....but next time. FOR NOW, I am going to try to SOMEHOW get cool enough to go to bed soon. It is only supposed to get as low as 64 through the night. *SIGH*
